Thanks to @fishing4eskimo for killing it at Warner Bros today

(Photo by Manny. I haven’t been to Boracay yet!)
Join me and the famous Manuel Librodo for a 5 day photographic workshop. It is October 19-24th ,2008 on the sandy white beaches of Boracay, the Philippines and beyond in remote fishing villages less dependent on Western influence.
The Safari will have lessons in shooting style, lighting and Photoshop from both me and Manny, but the vibe of the workshop will be interactive and personal. We are keeping groups small and are looking for only 12-14 participants.
Boracay is very tourist oriented and a friendly environment to learn, while beyond in the remote fishing villages are more of a challenge. The Philippines is composed of over 7,100 islands with countless small fishing communities living along its coasts. Packed tightly together in shanties that dot the shoreline, fishermen and their families rely solely on the sea to feed their families. Walking into a remote fishing village is like slipping into a place forgotten by time, where a day in the office means catching the fish their families need to eat that night.
1/3 of the workshop’s profits will be going to charity.

Patricia:(Aug 13th - 12:09) Hi Joey. Is there by any chance you´re going to Manila? It´s a great place to shoot too! I´m a big fan of your work and I wanna meet you, but I can´t go to Boracay because it´s about an hour from where I live, and I have to take a plane :|
Patricia:(Aug 13th - 14:25) By the way, are we allowed to not get the whole packagae but still attend the six-day safari shoot? Can we book our own flights and pay for our own accomodations without getting the package? If yes, how much would it cost? :D
Joey L:(Aug 14th - 02:48) Hey Patricia. Most of us will be flying from Manila since international flights come from the capital. The internal flights from Manila to the beaches are included in the workshop price, but shoot an e-mail to Bobby Wong, (the coordinator), about the package. His e-mail is  bobby.wong@yahoo.com  and he´s very very helpful!
Cameron Rad:(Aug 18th - 12:14) Hey Joey. Do you plan on coming to Los Angeles, CA anytime soon? I would like to meet you. Plus you can get a lot of great pictures of the homeless and unique people at Venice Beach and Melrose Ave. Just wondering. O and tutorial DVD rules! Thanks. And ya my real last name is Rad.
